Telehealth, Insurance & Fees

Everything you need to know about how we can meet, what insurance I accept, and what to expect if you're paying out of pocket.

How we meet

Telehealth

I offer secure video sessions for clients throughout Massachusetts. Telehealth works well for most people and removes the need to travel — you can join from home, your car, or anywhere private.

Sessions are conducted through a HIPAA-compliant video platform. You'll receive a link before each appointment. All you need is a device with a camera and a reliable internet connection.

If you've never done telehealth before, that's completely fine. I'll walk you through everything before your first session.

What you'll need

  • A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone
  • A stable internet connection
  • A private, quiet space where you feel comfortable speaking freely
  • You must be physically located in Massachusetts at the time of the session

Insurance

I am an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. If you have BCBS coverage, your sessions may be covered in full or subject to a copay, depending on your plan.

Before your first appointment, I recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card to confirm your mental health benefits, any deductible that applies, and your copay or coinsurance amount.

Not sure what your plan covers? I'm happy to help you figure it out — just reach out before scheduling.

Fees & superbills

Out-of-Network & Self-Pay

If you have insurance I'm not in-network with, or if you prefer to pay privately, I offer self-pay sessions at a standard rate. Please contact me directly for current fee information.

I can provide a superbill — a detailed receipt — after each session that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many PPO plans reimburse a portion of out-of-network mental health services.

I maintain a small number of sliding-scale spots for clients experiencing financial hardship. Please ask about availability when you reach out.

What is a superbill?

A superbill includes all the information your insurer needs: diagnosis codes, procedure codes, session dates, and my provider details.
